Bergamo & Dintorni

The apartment was clean and really nice, and the owner was lovely. Check-in late at night was no problem. It’s close to a bus stop and only 200 m from the Aldi, which made the location very convenient.

We stayed for a night on our way to Greece and enjoyed the view of the old city from our attic room. The bed was comfortable and the room was very well equipped. The owner was polite and helpful, sharing useful information about Bergamo and the surrounding area. It’s a good base for exploring the center, with the upper city about a 15-minute walk away.

The hostess was great, and the place was good value for money. We liked the top-floor apartment, and the lack of a lift wasn’t an issue for us. It was clean and tidy, with air conditioning, heating, an extra blanket, kettle, tea and sugar, plus a hairdryer, towels and soap. There’s no shampoo or shower gel. The walls are thin, so you can hear people outside the door, but earplugs helped. Free parking is nearby, though finding a space can be hard. It’s convenient for walking around, with everything about 15-20 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay 😊

We had no trouble finding the property, and Martina was lovely and helpful. Our late arrival wasn’t a problem, which I really appreciated. The place was comfortable and well equipped, and I hadn’t expected a king-size bed or a bidet. I loved Bergamo and would recommend staying here.
