We spent six nights here and were thrilled with the stay. The location is very central, close to everything, but it stayed quiet at night, so we could sleep well. The room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, and a great shower with strong pressure and steady hot water. The coffee machine was great, and they topped up the supplies and replaced the cups every day. Check-in was easy thanks to clear, detailed self check-in instructions. We’d definitely come back.

I was really impressed by how well cared for everything was. The room was spotless every day, and the manager was lovely and welcoming. The design was beautiful and clean, with a much more luxurious feel than I expected, and it made me want to come back and rest between sightseeing. You’re right in the heart of Rome. I walked to the Trevi Fountain in nine minutes, the Pantheon in seven, and the Spanish Steps in under ten. The location couldn’t be better. I loved my stay and would absolutely return. I’m already recommending it to friends. Don’t let the low Google reviews put you off, this was one of my favorite stays in Italy.

The room is small, but it has a relaxed charm and simple design. The building made a good first impression too, quiet and tucked away. I spoke with the manager about concerns I’d seen in past reviews, and we worked out the room situation. I was given Room 302. There’s no proper place to sit or coffee table, just a desk, a dining-style computer chair, and two small nightstands that aren’t very functional. There were no napkins or paper towels either, so when I spilled water, coffee, or tea, I had to use toilet paper. The rain shower is broken and doesn’t spread the water evenly, and the pressure is very low. It probably needs replacing. The mattress is very firm and noticeably concave, which made it less comfortable.

Things seemed fine at first, though it was a little noisy. The day before we left, I noticed some things I’d bought were missing. I told the hotel and asked them to check the security cameras. I wasn’t sure if I might have left my shopping somewhere else, and didn’t want to accuse anyone, even though I was sure it had been in the hotel. They said they’d take responsibility, refund me, and get in touch within two days. After that, they ignored my messages or barely replied, putting it off until after the weekend. Once the weekend had passed and we wrote again, they suddenly said management had changed and they were no longer responsible. That made no sense. I asked for the previous management’s contact details, but they refused to give them, which made me feel they were lying. They should be ashamed and take responsibility for their staff’s actions. I was naive to trust them.

The good points are that the location is very central and walkable to lots of fun things, the rooms are pretty and nicely designed, my room, shower, and bathroom felt clean, the Wi-Fi was good, and the price was good. The perfume smell everywhere did overshadow the cleanliness, though. I’d personally pick another hotel. There were three deal breakers for me. First, the room was above a very noisy street, with loud music and constant noise coming in. I couldn’t sleep during the day at all. Second, the perfume in the room and hallways was so strong it was hard to breathe. I had to leave the window open for hours to air it out, which made the noise worse and let in the cold, but I couldn’t sleep in a room that smelled like that. Third, reception was hard to reach. To their credit, they replied on WhatsApp when I needed help outside reception hours, but even during official hours I often had to wait and send lots of messages before anyone noticed.
