The apartment was clean, looked just like the photos, and had a central location. The two things I didn't like were the very slow Wi-Fi and the stairs. I never got the Wi-Fi above 7 Mbps, and Eliva confirmed that's normal, so streaming isn't really an option, though email works fine. The apartment is on the first floor, meaning one level above street level in Europe. The steps are narrow and steep, which I found challenging. Maybe that's just my perspective since I'm in my 70s!

The little balcony has a stunning view, and the apartment is comfortable and well equipped. It's right in central Bergamo, with excellent bars and restaurants only steps away. The owner is a very nice, helpful person. I'm sure I'll be back.

Elvira gave us really useful sightseeing tips, and I hardly ever meet a host as helpful, forthcoming, and sympathetic as her. We had a great time in this cozy apartment in the middle of lower Bergamo, especially enjoying the view from the balcony. I'd absolutely recommend it to couples and anyone interested in authentic life in Bergamo. Thank you so much 🙌

The apartment is clean and comfortable, with fresh interiors and appliances that all worked as expected. It's in a very good location, and you can get to quite nearly anywhere in town with a 20-minute walk. The hostess is easy to reach when needed and happy to help.
