It’s a shame, because the apartment has a lot of potential. It’s nicely furnished, but felt neglected during our one-night stay: there was dust everywhere, the TVs didn’t work, and neither did the coffee machine. The host wasn’t very friendly or hospitable, and didn’t give us useful directions for reaching the property, which is in the middle of a restricted traffic zone. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The apartment was in poor condition for the price. There was dust everywhere, dirty cups, a crusty toaster, a loose toilet seat and a balcony with cigarette butts. The owner blamed the loose seat on previous guests. The TV didn’t work either. And I don’t think Bergamo Alta is worth staying in, half a day is enough.

The location is excellent, the only positive for me. The building is old, and cleanliness could be better. Breakfast was just adequate, with dry biscuits and individual cereal portions, nothing special. The host wasn’t always around to help.

There’s a generous breakfast buffet, and the house itself is magnificent, clean and beautifully furnished in a prestigious location. My only complaint is that it has no stove, just two induction hobs. That’s a minor detail for such a high-end property.

The location is good, but the hygiene was terrible.
