I travel a lot and have never had an experience like this. The owner’s behavior shocked me. We stayed in five places during our holiday in Italy; this was the worst, even though the prices were roughly the same. We gave the accommodation 7/10 on booking, which I already felt was quite a high score. The owner messaged to ask why we’d only given a 7, and I suspect he wanted us to change it. That makes me wonder whether other reviews are objective if he contacted everyone the same way. We’d already left detailed feedback on booking and didn’t want to keep discussing it, so we didn’t reply. He then sent another message insulting us and calling us bad, dishonest people. This is awful behavior. We’re taking it up with booking, and I’d advise people to avoid this place if they can.

The host kept in touch throughout and was really nice. The location worked perfectly for visiting Bergamo and getting around to Milan, Verona and other places. I’d definitely stay again if I return to Italy. Don’t hesitate to book this apartment!

We only stayed one night and barely used the kitchen, but it’s small and perfectly adequate for breakfast. The location is great for the airport, which took us about 10 minutes to reach by car early in the morning. The owner made communication easy and well thought out, including a short video on using the key safe. That made a real difference.

The apartment is in a typical Bergamo building with permanent residents, and it was very quiet. The amenities all worked well, and I was comfortable during my stay. The decor leans eclectic and vintage. It’s also conveniently placed: four or five blocks from the train and bus stations, two blocks from the shopping center and the city’s main avenue.
