Radisson Blu Hotel Bergamo Choruslife

Enza from reservations handled the initial booking difficulties flawlessly. Her professionalism, courtesy and efficiency were much appreciated. The hotel is beautiful, with elegant Christmas decorations that give it a warm feel. Finding it was a little tricky, and the in-room climate control panel wasn't immediately easy to use. Dinner service was attentive and well balanced, professional without being intrusive, and every detail was handled carefully. The pillows fell short of the Radisson standard I expected. Breakfast also disappointed. We were three families with children, but beyond a table set for nine and a pot of tea I specifically requested, we felt mostly overlooked. When a family arrived with a child under two, nobody offered them a high chair, which was surprising for a hotel of this level. Our own children, aged 2 to 13, behaved impeccably throughout breakfast. Star ratings should stand for more than price or prestige. They should show a real commitment to looking after guests and making them feel welcome whenever they return. The property is beautiful and has excellent potential, but I'd think carefully about coming back, especially with children.

The restaurant was the one real bright spot: the food was excellent and the service genuinely good. Unfortunately, that couldn't make up for the noise, poor construction quality and housekeeping. Cleanliness was clearly below what I'd expect from a hotel in this category, and the interior finishes and overall build felt poor, with inadequate soundproofing inside and from outside. Even after we requested a quiet suite three times, we got a room facing a construction site. We could also hear chairs being dragged around in the restaurant above us, making it very hard to rest. A very disappointing stay, far from what I expect of the Radisson Blu brand.

During my friend's recovery after surgery, I stayed with her as her companion. The whole team, from housekeeping and restaurant staff to reception, made us feel cared for from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and professionalism meant a lot at such a delicate time. Lorenzo at the front desk deserves a special mention. He was wonderfully attentive, always anticipating what we might need with a smile. And that cappuccino is perfect! Thank you all for making our stay so comfortable and warm. Highly recommended.

Check-in was easy, and the room was perfect, very clean, and had a decent view. The bed was big and comfortable, and I slept really well. I especially loved the shower, the water pressure felt great after a long day of travel. Breakfast downstairs in the hotel restaurant was good, and the staff were wonderful and accommodating. The hotel is very large and modern for such a quaint town. I'd recommend it.
