Villa dei Venti

We were really impressed by the industrial look and the vinyl records by the bed, such a great idea. The apartment, its equipment, and the service were all at the highest level. Thanks for the time we spent there. We hope this was our first stay at Villa dei Venti, but not our last. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a really great place to stay. Thanks again.

The apartment had everything we needed for our five nights, and we loved having the little terrace for evening drinks. We’d happily come back and will recommend it to friends and family visiting Bergamo. I’ve seen comments calling the walk to Città Alta very far, but I don’t agree. The apartments are almost directly below the road up to the upper city. The climb is quite challenging, but the views along the way and the lovely cobbled streets at the top make it enjoyable and worthwhile. It was reasonably chilly while we were there, and the heating was easy to use. On a few evenings, though, a throw or blanket on the sofa would have been welcome. That’s not really a criticism.

After getting to know the area, we found it easy to get around and reach everything on foot. The flat was spacious and comfortable, with luxurious touches, new facilities, and lovely details. We especially appreciated how clean it was, along with the bed, kitchen, and terrace. Danielle and Giovanna's host welcomed us in person and answered our questions promptly. A lovely stay, highly recommended, and a great place to stay in Bergamo. :)
