Albergo Ristorante 'l Bunet

The view is breathtaking, and the staff are really kind and friendly. Around the Langhe, this is a place to try: the cooking brings local tradition together with creativity, and each dish feels like the chef and daughter have carried an idea through beautifully. It’s a memorable food experience, and you can also stay overnight in one of the rooms for a peaceful night.

We were just passing through on a trek and stopped to eat. One of the best places we’ve tried in the area.

The meal itself was good, but dogs barked throughout dinner from the neighboring balcony and that spoiled the evening. I know the dogs aren’t really the owners’ fault, and it wasn’t the restaurant itself, but with an expensive dinner out with family and friends, nonstop barking is the last thing you want. It’s a shame that someone’s failure to look after the animals can affect local businesses like this.

We only spent a weekend here. The rooms are simple but clean, and the host was very welcoming. The family room in the building across from the restaurant is almost an apartment, so I’d recommend it. The restaurant was very good and the food tasty, with prices to match. I did think breakfast could offer more savory options. The location seemed fine, though the roads to and from the better-known Langhe towns weren’t comfortable. That was my mistake.
