The owner and his wife, who is the chef, were very friendly and attentive to what guests needed. We spent several days at La Vecchia Quercia on our recent trip to Italy, and loved this tiny boutique hotel and restaurant out in the beautiful countryside. The rooms were comfortable and fully up to date. Breakfast and dinner were fabulous, with cappuccinos and eggs and bacon made to order each morning. We ate several meals and attended events there, all fresh, made to order and delicious. There's also a very nice wine selection. We skipped lunch because we were out on day trips. I'd highly recommend La Vecchia Quercia for a night, a meal or a vacation.

The restaurant is the real standout for me. The food is so carefully prepared and tastes like it could hold its own against many Michelin star restaurants I've tried. The rooms are modern, nice and extremely clean too. It's run by a lovely couple. A must try if you're in the region. I've been back many times and plan to keep coming.

Paulo and his staff were wonderful. We were there for a family reunion while on vacation with my husband in mid September, and the food was EXCELLENT! Our room was modern and clean, and much nicer than the pictures made it look. I'd go back in a minute!

The rooms are clean, the views are great, and wifi is available in every room. I've been staying at this hotel for about 10 years, and it's been remodeled, so the pictures are two years old. The food is fantastic. It's my hotel of choice, and I don't think you'll find a better one in the area.

Loved the meal from the appetizer right through to the coffee. Everything was cooked impeccably, and the portions were more than enough. Congratulations.
