The apartment was a good size and seems especially suited to a family, and the bed was very comfortable. Still, the place could do with updating. Breakfast is brought to the room, which limits the choices, so that needs work. We visited in late May and found the pool closed. I also couldn't see a spa.

We spent a week here for our honeymoon, after a week in Levanto, and it was one of the most memorable weeks of travel I've had. RPG's host was warm, generous, kind, and always helpful. We loved the villa and the pool, along with the breakfasts, olive trees, and those sunrises and sunsets. Truly marvelous. We'll recommend it and come back if we're in Bevagna.

This did not feel like a 3-star hotel. On arrival, the young man said we could have “the best room” since there were no other guests. It had a filthy couch, marks on the bedspread, a silverfish and a hair in the bed, and a large spider on the window covering. Dogs next door barked loudly. When I called, the employee came to look and offered another room, also described as “the best room in the hotel.” That room had stained walls, a broken shower, no toilet paper holder, a filthy kitchen cloth, and another large spider with a web in the ceiling corner. The dogs were still barking. We had no choice but to stay the night, then checked out in the morning. Since we'd paid in advance and there was no cancellation policy, we had to forfeit the fee for three nights. See photos!

The pool was clean, and the garden is huge. The owner was very friendly and ready to help whenever needed. A great place to travel with a dog.
