We didn’t miss a thing during our two-week honeymoon at agriturismo Il Poderino. Our apartment had everything we needed, and the owners even let us bring our dog. They have a cute little dog of their own, too. It was peaceful, with a large rural property, a quiet Tuscan village, a bio lake and a whirlpool, and no tourist crowds. We’re tired of resorts, so this was heaven for a calm, quiet break. Thanks, Marco, for the luxurious honeymoon. You haven’t seen the last of us :) siamo appassionato!

The property itself is lovely and would be a four-star place for a relaxing stay. I’m giving it two stars because of the owner, who also runs it. He complains about everything and seems not to understand that while a place is rented, it isn’t his to control. On August 15th, for example, he had his whole family over for lunch in front of the pool, even though the pool was part of our apartment rental. He also criticizes anything he thinks is out of place. We would have put things back before leaving, but be aware that everything is very fragile, from the table to the fan, and could break, potentially leaving you on the hook for the cost. I wouldn’t bring kids here either, since he complains about noise, even when it’s coming from the place we rented.

Everything listed on the website was there and worked as promised, including the apartment’s satellite TV, Wi-Fi and microwave. The owners were helpful and friendly, and the property is near Bibbona village. You can reach it in five minutes on foot using a private road. The village has everything you need, and the place is an enchanting spot to unwind. The value for money is excellent, and we’ll definitely return. Tuscany, its people, territory, traditions, history, food and wine are all unique. See you soon!!
