The evening entertainment was just the same kids' music clip, around 40 minutes long, played on a loop every night. The breakfast buffet was repetitive and uninspired, and the bedsheets were never changed during our four-night stay. The air-conditioning also wasn't working properly. We came with our 1.5-year-old expecting an easy all-inclusive holiday, but meal times left a gap of more than five hours with nothing to eat. Breakfast was 07:00-11:00, lunch 12:00-13:30, and dinner 18:45-21:00, with nothing available in between. There were no snacks or sandwiches. We asked if we could order something from outside and were told no. The reception staff seemed like young, untrained students who couldn't do anything beyond smile and repeat scripted answers. An older woman, around 60, eventually came over and was shockingly cold, dismissive, and rude. When we asked how this could be called “all-inclusive,” she snapped that it meant “all-inclusive drinks” and that everything else was in the website's fine print. We asked what we were supposed to do with our hungry child. She pointed to the exit and told us to leave if we weren't happy, even though the booking was non-refundable. When we asked to see the manager, she said, “No, The Hotel has no Manager.” There was no hospitality, flexibility, or care. This might suit someone who just wants to drink beer by the pool and expects the bare minimum. For a family, or anyone who cares about food, hygiene, or basic hospitality, avoid it. This was a complete lack of warmth and care, and one of our worst travel experiences in years.

The Starfish was a huge disappointment, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. The pool service was one of the worst parts: the young waiter was arrogant and negative, seemed uninterested in serving guests, and made the experience unpleasant. The staff overall were extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. Very young people or students were working at reception and seemed to have no idea about the hotel, just sitting there and smiling. This felt far from a 5-star stay, more like a basic 3-star hotel. Rooms weren't cleaned daily, and after five days our sheets still hadn't been changed once. That isn't the service I'd expect from a 5-star hotel.

The bathroom had no door, so you could hear everything, especially toilet noises. I spent six days at the hotel and came away disappointed. For a hotel of this class, there were too few activities for children. Breakfast was the biggest drawback: tasteless, even disgusting. If you want good food, I wouldn't recommend this place. One star.

Dinner service was incredibly disorganized. I once waited 20-30 minutes for a drink, and they simply forgot the order. I had to call two or three waiters before I could get a drink for the family with dinner. During dinner, drinks weren't served at the bar, and there was nowhere else to ask. I was specifically turned away by the bartender, and couldn't even get a glass of water for my child. The whole atmosphere and service felt like being stuck in the 2000s. Worst service of my life.
