That night was a total nightmare. A very thin wooden door separated our room from the people next door, so we heard their TV at 4 in the morning, crying babies, and loud conversations. We couldn't sleep at night, and when we tried during the day, our neighbor's snoring was too loud. They eventually moved us to a separate room, which was much better. The hotel itself seemed pretty old, with nasty carpet throughout. The beach was a long way off and packed with people. Two chairs and an umbrella cost $30 Euros, which felt like a total rip-off.

The pool and the hotel's proximity to the sea were the best parts. If I'm being generous, breakfast was okay too. But this isn't a 4-star hotel, and I don't know how it can claim to be. Our room was what I'd expect from a bad 2-star place. The carpet was dirty, the old furniture needed repairs, the shower leaked, and its hose was damaged. There was no iron or boiler in the room. The curtains were old and dirty, we got just one pillow each, and mine was about as thick as four slices of bread stacked together. To cap it off, the air conditioning didn't work. I was there with a few friends for another friend's wedding.

I loved it. The indoor and outdoor pools were perfect, the spa was perfect too, and both the room and food were good. No other words, just perfect.
