The rooms are old and basic, so don't expect luxury, but they're decent enough for a couple of nights in this beautiful city. We found the staff lovely and the location very good, right by a nice beach. Walk about 20 minutes along the sea line and you'll get to the city port, where the restaurants are.

Everything was good, with welcoming and helpful staff throughout. Josue (hope I wrote it correctly) made our mornings especially nice, bringing a smile and personal touch as he served coffee at the buffet-style breakfast. Someone give that man a raise! Thank you.

The staff were very good, and the hotel itself is grand, with wide, opulent corridors. We had a large room and a nice balcony. It was a great hotel, though the rooms didn't feel intimate.

I was there in June 2025, and the convenient location couldn't make up for the hygiene problems in the room. There was quite a bit of dust behind the furniture and on the picture frames. I found what looked like a bed bug, and others in our group said they had too. They say the room is cleaned daily, but the visible dirt and dust suggested otherwise. I hope management takes this seriously, since it affected the whole experience.

We spent almost a month at Salsello. It's a lovely place, with a good breakfast and very friendly staff.
