The room was furnished with old pieces that looked like they’d been picked up from who knows where. The bathroom was awful: the shower is right next to the toilet, so in a double room one person couldn’t use the bathroom while the other showered. There was no connection on either the phone or the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work at all. Breakfast was just coffee in a thermos instead of made fresh, warm fruit juices, and even worse water. And they call this a B&B. It’s an embarrassing place, to say the least, and absolutely not worth visiting.

I stayed three nights and thought the value for money was excellent. The owner was kind from my first call and happy to answer questions. When I asked for breakfast at 6 a.m., there was a warm, really delicious croissant, fresh coffee, and hot milk in a thermos waiting on the table in the breakfast room, so it wouldn’t get cold if guests arrived late. The room was very tidy, and they changed the towels and garbage bags daily, even though the bags were practically empty. The main nuisance was the thin walls, which can be a problem if you’re a light sleeper, sleep late, or take an afternoon nap. The towels were a bit stiff, but nothing excessive, despite what some reviews on Booking.com said. The shower was uncomfortable, with no shower tray, so turning the water up high could soak the whole bathroom floor. I’d bring flip-flops.
