The main problem for me was how the owners handled things. After days without being able to reach the owner, we had to contact Booking.com support. At checkout, we calmly explained what had gone wrong, but she responded rudely, blamed us, and mocked us about supposedly not knowing how to use the dishwasher instead of apologizing. She then filmed us without permission, even though two minors were there, and slammed the door in our faces while looking out the window. At the station, her husband also took photos of us as we waited. It felt disturbing and unprofessional. Booking.com wouldn't let me post a review for months, so I'm writing here to warn other travelers. I strongly advise against staying here. I've attached a video to show the situation. Our stay was August 4 to August 10, and there were problems throughout. At check-in we stood outside for two hours because the owner couldn't be reached. She later gave a vague explanation about a SIM card issue. The air conditioner was broken, the vacuum didn't work, and the electrical system was inadequate, tripping even when we cooked with the induction hob. The plumbing was poor too, since we couldn't run a faucet and shower at the same time. The sheets were unclean, with an unpleasant, almost "human" smell and no laundry scent, as if they'd only been washed with water or might even have been used. Clean linens are the minimum for a paid stay. The house rules were tucked among books in a hidden spot and impossible to find. There was also little to do in the Bogliasco area.
