4 Star Bologna Train Station - Self Check-In

Even though this is a self check-in property, the staff were extremely helpful. We had a lot of bags, and they helped move our luggage from the apartment to the office and get us settled into the taxi. We stayed one night and were very happy with everything. The apartment was spotless, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Highly recommended.

It was perfect for our one-night stay: so nice, clean, and relaxing. The jacuzzi and shower were both amazing. Honestly, it was the nicest place we stayed during the whole trip!

The name doesn’t really do the place justice. We stayed here while touring Italy, and it was easy to find, close to the town and the train and bus stations. We could drop off our bags, freshen up, and head out to explore. It was clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed, plenty of space, and a convenient, safe location. The kitchenette was well equipped, including a kettle and espresso machine, and there was a washing machine too. The shower was good, and it looked even better than the pictures. Marco on staff was friendly and helpful. The office is in the same building, so he was available in person during working hours and by phone 24/7. Entry by calling the number was convenient, and he also gave us a key.

The apartment needs renovation, especially the shower, and the air conditioning was really noisy, like it was broken. The hot tub was uncomfortable to lie in because it had no headrests, even though they were shown in the photos. The garage was in a different building, and in the pouring rain we couldn’t tell how to get out of the walled-off area and back to the apartment. The location was much worse than we expected, next to the train station and some sketchy high-rises. A shame. I’d recommend staying in the old city center.
