Accademia al Colle

The owner seems so sweet, and I really wish I had nicer things to say. There are lovely gardens, a great city view, and a pretty wooded setting. But the apartment had no dishwasher or oven for cooking, and there were no curtains, so other guests could look straight inside. It happened. The air conditioning was useless because the breaker tripped so easily while it was running, even though I know it was hot outside. When it rained, water poured through the bathroom light fixtures. We reported it, and someone showed up unannounced at 9:45pm. The bathroom was heated with no way to adjust the temperature, like showering and getting dressed in a sauna. There were no full-length mirrors, no extra towels, and no cleaning during our four-night stay, among other issues. I think the owner's intentions are good, but the experience definitely didn't feel like a 3 star hotel.

The rooms were spacious, adorable, and clean, and the outside area was great for the kids to run around. We were three families with small children and could stay close to each other without sharing living spaces, which worked perfectly. The little spa gave us a nice place to gather after the kids went to bed. It was just 5mins from the city, and the owner or worker we ran into a few times was so sweet. Thanks for having us!

Each of the three families we travelled with had their own apartment, and the kids had lots of outdoor space to play. The views from accedemia b&b are beautiful, and the place is quiet and quaint. It was also an easy drive into the city. The host was communicative and quick to respond. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it!

The villa del rose had really comfortable beds, and the little Spa was a highlight. There was a huge garden, beautiful views, fresh air, and plenty of quiet. The owner was a darling, showed us around, and helped wherever she could. I definitely want to come back.
