We needed to stay for an extended time while looking for an apartment, and the staff were always accommodating when we asked to extend. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. San Mamolo is beautiful, with nature, good restaurants, and coffee shops nearby. It's a peaceful spot that still keeps you close to the city center. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Bologna.

We booked for 3 people for 2 nights, but our flight was cancelled. We contacted them 2 days ahead and asked if they could offer vouchers or something, but they charged us in full. Extremely unfriendly and frustrating. Never again. In response to their reply: we booked at very short notice and cancelled before check-in time. But whatever. I'm pretty sure they didn't host anyone else during those 2 days and got undeserved income twice over. Enjoy.

Our flight arrived late, and we reached the apartment at 23:00 after telling the woman in advance. She had left half an hour before we got there and wouldn't let us in, leaving us without a place to stay in the middle of the night. She also refused to leave the keys at a nearby restaurant. I booked through booking.com, but the property didn't refund me. I paid for three days despite never staying there.

Even though I booked at the last minute, the owner offered to move her car out of the private garage so I could park. It was a rare and very thoughtful gesture. Affittacamere Rizzoli is modern and beautifully kept, with spotless, quiet rooms and careful attention to the furnishings and little details. The owner was exceptionally kind and helpful. A very pleasant stay, and one I'd recommend without hesitation.

There was a moldy smell, and the bathroom still had dirty linens from the previous guest. The room was dirty and the sheets were stained or unclean. €123 feels excessive for this level of service.
