Al Melograno

The room was spacious and spotless, and the owner was so kind. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and homemade croissants. They asked what we'd prefer. The house and garden are b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l!

We had a lovely stay. The rooms are gorgeous, the pool was great, and breakfast was nice too. Thanks for taking such good care of us!

The garden was just what we needed, and having a swimming pool there was lovely. Everything was peaceful and quiet, and the owner was really friendly, asked what we wanted for breakfast, and gave us the essential information. Couldn't ask for more. Five stars, and six if that were possible!

The room had everything I needed, including a little balcony facing the park, a small entrance area that worked as a dressing and luggage space, and a proper walk-in shower. Breakfast was fairly simple, more like something you'd have at home, but I'd come back in a nicer season to sit in the shade of those trees and swim in the beautiful pool. The house has been renovated inside and out several times, yet it still feels like it belongs to another era. It dates to the early 19th century, perhaps as a convent, and sits among tall trees, some of them possibly centuries old. My room was just the right size, with a simple, unfussy feel. Claudia is wonderful and has a distinctive, pleasantly bohemian style. The interior reflects that: interesting, well-made old furniture and objects are mixed into so much clutter that most people would give up looking for anything. Claudia can find what she needs straight away, even with her eyes closed.
