The pastries were fresh and tasty, and there's a huge selection of pastries, cookies, and more. The coffee was good too. There are seats inside and tables outside under the covered sidewalk. It's a popular café, so you may have to wait for a patio table since those are the premium seats. Certainly worth a visit.

The quiet building and the family welcome made this a lovely place to settle in. The rooms are bright, elegant, and comfortable, and the calm atmosphere even gave me space to think about work. It sits discreetly on Via San Donato behind the old gate, one of the twelve said to have protected Bologna since the year 1000. There’s a restaurant on site, and the coffee is excellent. I’d gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm welcome.

I slept like a log, thanks to how peaceful and welcoming the place felt. The owner was so kind and helpful, thank you, Madam. I’d never stayed in a B&B before, so I have nothing to compare it with, but I left more than satisfied: everything was clean, nicely furnished, and had a real family feel. Breakfast this morning was served in the spacious, neat upstairs kitchen and had plenty to choose from. For such an incredible price, it’s hard to ask for more. I’m holding back the fifth star for a reason you’ll have to see for yourself. Try it and believe it!

Mrs. Assunta was very kind, and breakfast was good. The room and separate private bathroom outside it were clean. The location is reasonably close to the center, and the stay was good value for money.
