The breakfast claim was misleading. The listing said breakfast was included, but there was none when I arrived. Other guests said they'd bought their own food, and nobody explained what was meant to be provided. I also have privacy concerns because the owner has copies of my passport and my husband's. I've reported this to Booking.com, consumer protection authorities, and data protection regulators. The Booking.com listing said taxes and charges were included, but later the owner demanded an extra city tax. It wasn't made clear while booking that this wasn't covered, unlike at other Booking.com properties I've stayed in. I had already paid the tourist tax when the owner sent me threatening WhatsApp messages after I posted an honest review. He demanded I take it down or he'd report me for “defamation” and “failure to pay the tourist tax.” He even threatened, without basis, to block my flight. That's completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I had a deeply stressful experience here, with misleading information, no breakfast as advertised, and intimidation over a truthful review. I strongly advise against staying here. There are better and safer places in Bologna, so stay somewhere else.

From here, Bologna's train station is about a 10-15 minute walk, and the city center takes around 15-20 minutes on foot. The accommodation itself was lovely, with spacious, bright rooms that looked luxurious and had new furnishings. The shared kitchen was clean and fully equipped. The owner was very kind and explained everything.

For €234 for two days, this was a huge disappointment. We were supposed to get breakfast, but all we saw was a carton of milk, two biscuits, and tea bags. The listing also mentioned coffee and a coffee machine, but there was neither. The room had someone else's broken nail and lots of strange black hairs on the floor, so we had to clean it ourselves instead of resting. The toilet was dirty, and the white bedding was yellow. We weren't told we'd be sharing the place with other people and a kitchen, though we did have our own bedroom and toilet. We still shared the hall and kitchen with others.

I really can't recommend this Airbnb.
