Only five minutes from Piazza Maggiore, and much cheaper than a hotel. The place was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I'd definitely book it again if I come back to Bologna.

The location was the highlight, just 200 m from the city center, tucked into a typical Italian alleyway that was surprisingly quiet. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked fine. There was a big bathroom, balcony, roomy closet, and a rain forest shower head that really impressed me. The hairdryer took some coaxing, though. The host was lovely and gave us a map with restaurant and sightseeing tips. For breakfast we went to a nearby coffee place for a brioche and café/water. I'd recommend staying here.

The room was roomy, with a large bathroom, and the historic city center is very close by. Francesca, our host, gave us detailed sightseeing advice and the service was excellent.

Being just steps from Via Indipendenza made it easy to explore Bologna on foot and soak up the city's lively feel. The B&B sits right in the historic center, close to the main shopping street and historic sights. We felt at home right away thanks to the warm, professional welcome. The staff were very kind and helpful, and shared the information we needed to get around. I'd highly recommend it for a comfortable, authentic stay in central Bologna.
