Having a balcony over the street was a nice extra, and the free Wi-Fi worked well. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped, too. The accommodation was clean and convenient for the main pedestrian streets and Palermo's outdoor street market, as well as the train and bus station. Public transport was easy to reach, and the price was good.

This was the worst stay of my life. I spent three days in a room where it was hard to walk around or sleep. There were long hairs all over the floor and bed, and stains everywhere on the bed. The place felt unhealthy and unclean, and neither the air conditioning nor the heaters worked. When we complained, the employee blamed the building and said he didn't know why the government had shut off power to the A/C, but it felt like an excuse because nothing worked. The service was really rude. I wouldn't stay here.

We were comfortable here for three nights, and it's convenient for getting around, with the bus and train terminals, main street, and city sights all within walking distance. The place could use a little renovation. Good budget accommodation, thanks.

Everything else was as expected, but the air conditioning didn't work. That was one of the reasons we booked the place, along with its location.
