A cute apartment in a really nice location.

The beds are comfortable and the place is cleaned regularly. The location is central and easy to get to. They've added a short upstairs extension with two extra rooms. The additional sofa bed by the entrance, though, is uncomfortable and should be replaced. Thank you.

I trusted what the owner told me, and now I feel misled. I booked in a hurry and didn't notice the reservation was non-refundable. Since flights were expensive, I contacted Booking.com. They spoke with the owner, then told me they couldn't do anything further and suggested I contact the host directly. He asked me to cancel so he could list the dates again, and said he'd refund me if he rented the place out for those dates. Yesterday, after finally finding a flight, I let him know. He replied, "I'm sorry, you can't get your booking or your money back." Legally he's right, but I relied on his word. This feels like usury, deception, and bad faith.

The apartment was comfortable, very nice, and right in the center. It came with a lot for an apartment: clean sheets, towels, soap dispensers and hand sanitizer throughout, plus a little breakfast kit with tea, coffee, and pastries. There was also a fridge stocked with complimentary water and Coke.
