The spa and shower made for a really relaxing stay, and the apartment was close to nearly everything of interest in Bologna. The hosts replied very quickly, and being able to store our luggage was a nice bonus. Absolutely recommend it!

My husband and I spent a week in one of the suites and were very happy with the stay. The location made it easy to pop back during the day, whether to rest or leave our shopping, and reaching Bologna Centrale for our two day trips was simple. Piazza Maggiore was also just a short walk away. Inside, there was plenty of room for the two of us, with comfortable bedding, lots of pillows, extra linen for the sofa bed, and enough storage to unpack. The bathroom was much larger than others we’ve had in Europe, and the shower had great pressure, warmed up quickly, and had loads of space. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and laundry machine. There were TVs in the bedroom and living room. On the balcony, we had a small table, two chairs, and a drying rack. Check-in was easy with clear instructions and good communication from management. Our suite was on the first floor, the second floor by US numbering, and the elevator helped with luggage. The lockbox codes worked easily. Wifi was fast and reliable, and streaming worked well when we wanted a break. A couple of things to know: Bologna’s municipality regulates when the AC can be used and how low it can be set, so we couldn’t use it during our visit. Daytime highs were around 80ºF and nights around 60ºF. Cracking the window was mostly enough, though we’d booked partly because AC was listed and may have missed information about the rules. The radiators also came on randomly later in the week and were turned up high, likely still set for winter. Once we switched them off, the room got comfortable again quickly. There’s a lively street and a cafe below the suite, with the balcony facing its outdoor seating area. We didn’t really see that as a complaint, but we bought earplugs and slept fine. We got a few bug bites with the windows open, though nothing too bad. We’d stay here again.

The host was very quick to respond, and everything was organized smoothly. The accommodation was spotless and in a fantastic location. We’d definitely book again, and highly recommend it.

We were very disappointed with the service, despite having high expectations. There was no hot water, and the apartment wasn’t warm enough. The central heating was turned off early in the evening, while the AC was too small to heat the whole apartment. It was installed upstairs, so the heat couldn’t reach the lower floor. We were there in November, when nights in Bologna go below 5 Celsius, and traveling with my wife and baby made warmth and hot water especially important. The location was very good, only a few minutes’ walk from Piazza Maggiore. The apartment was well equipped and also had a jacuzzi.
