We loved the villa so much that we didn't want to go out and explore Bologna. It was our first time there, and our travel agent had made the reservation. There's lots of artwork and expensive, comfortable furnishings, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was included and had a huge range of quality food. Leaving was hard. For us, staying in this lovely villa was the highlight of Bologna.

The location made it easy to walk around and explore, and I'd absolutely stay here again. My room at Casa Bertagni was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, one of the best parts of the stay. Martin and Roberta were warm, attentive hosts who made me feel at home right away. Breakfast each morning was delicious and a fantastic start to the day.

Martin and Roberta made sure everything was just right, and the rooms are decorated with their own distinctive style. We stayed in "Justice." The location is excellent, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in, though I do like firmer mattresses. Don't miss the fresh juice at the breakfast buffet. Highly recommend it, and I can't wait to come back.

It's set in a quiet area, just a short walk from the city center, and our hosts suggested some great places to eat where locals go. The room was excellent, breakfast was delicious, and our hosts were superb and very helpful. We had a lovely stay at Casa Bertagni and will certainly stay again.

We felt like welcome guests at this lovely property. Roberta and Marrin were wonderful and helped arrange restaurant reservations and taxis. Breakfast was lovely too, and the location worked great for us, within walking distance of all the major sites. Highly recommended.
