Best Western Plus Hotel Universo

We spent four nights here with my husband and had such a lovely time, and could easily have stayed longer. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and made the visit feel special. Our room was clean and up to date, and the hotel was quiet. Dining on the rooftop was a beautiful touch, especially with the city lit up at night. It was easy to reach the metro, and there was plenty to see on foot. I’d definitely return and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed drinks after dinner at the rooftop bar, with spectacular views over the city. The breakfast was great and had everything you could think of, and the room was comfortable. It’s within walking distance of Termini train station. I’d stay here again on my next visit to Rome.

The hotel is a convenient central base, about a 10-minute walk from Termini train station. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, the toiletries were top notch, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The lobby and public areas were beautifully maintained, as was the gym with its good basic equipment. Staff throughout were warm, welcoming and patient, answered our questions carefully, and gave us terrific suggestions for restaurants and activities. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful trip with my mother!

The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms clean and tidy, and even the rooftop food was excellent and not overpriced. It’s very close to the train station, so the location is excellent. One warning I’d read before going proved important: between November and April, ask for a second-floor room, since that’s the only floor with air conditioning in “winter.” It was deadly hot, so I was very glad I learned about it and got an air-conditioned room.
