The rooms and house were okay, but far too expensive for what you get. The heating stayed off until 6 pm, and even when I asked, I wasn't given a contract. The landlord was generally nice, but living there became hard to bear because she didn't respect privacy. She'd come into your room while you were out to check the heating or open the windows. There were lots of house rules, including a ban on having someone over for dinner, which seemed ridiculous. She also put a camera in the kitchen to watch the residents and see whether they broke the rules. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

Gigliola was a wonderfully kind and helpful host. The place is quiet and cozy, and you can reach the center by bus or walk there in about 20 minutes.

The owner was always kind and helped whenever we asked. The home is well located in a lovely, quiet area, and it's comfortable and well equipped. Since other students live there too, it's a good fit for students and easy to make friends. I highly recommend renting it.

I wouldn't recommend it. The owner monitored us with cameras in both the kitchen and garden and repeatedly ignored our privacy. When we were out, she used a key to enter our rooms, unplug chargers, check the radiator (which was always off anyway), and shut the windows. She also came in without knocking. We weren't allowed to use the oven or washing machine, and she'd take clothes from the line without saying anything. The rent was too high, and she raised it a couple of times without warning, saying, "you take too long hot showers."
