10/10
There are lots of nearby choices for coffee, lunch or a drink, and although the area is lively at night, noise didn't bother us. The hotel is right in the heart of Bologna, with convenient parking opposite the entrance at a reasonable price. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Staff, from reception to the women getting breakfast ready, were exceptional and helpful whenever we needed them. Breakfast was very good for a three-star hotel. Highly recommended!

The location is okay, though it's quite a walk to the central station. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the rooms are pretty basic and a little dated. Good enough.

The quick replies to our messages through the booking app were appreciated, and the beds fit our little family comfortably. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean and central. It was a nice touch to have slippers and toiletries.

6/10
The rooms were nice and clean, and it's easy to walk into the center from this central Bologna location. Service was polite and check-in and checkout both went smoothly. Breakfast was okay. We could hear everything in our room, including noises from other rooms and toilets flushing. It would also help to deal with the damp smell in the basement breakfast room and have bacon at breakfast. Soundproofing could be better.

The staff were dedicated and caring, which made the experience special. Hotel university is well placed for sightseeing, with many of the main attractions within walking distance. The amenities were excellent too. I had an exceptional stay and would highly recommend it.
