We stayed for 3 nights and had a mix of good and frustrating points. The location was great, within walking distance of most Bologna attractions and restaurants, and the room was a good size. Customer service was also good: they dealt with our concerns, though some fixes took a full night. That included replacing a pillow and changing sheets that had blood stains. We were travelling for over a month with luggage, which made arrival awkward. We had to park a few miles away, haul our bags along cobbled streets and crosswalks, then carry them up to the first floor. The kitchen was shared, and with the COVID situation, making even a small meal felt a little intimidating. There was nowhere we could just leave groceries on the kitchen counters. There were no mirrors in the room, so I had to wait for my family to finish in the bathroom before I could brush my hair or put on makeup. The pillows were obnoxiously big, too. On the first night there were just 2 normal memory foam pillows for the three of us, along with the huge ones, so I made a makeshift pillow from towels. They kindly swapped it the next day. It was a good stay apart from those issues.

We loved the historic feel of the place, and the room was really nice. It had a freshly renovated bathroom, and the location was very central, with Piazza Maggiore and nearby restaurants an easy walk away. There's a large parking lot about five minutes away on foot, for an extra charge.

The building was beautiful and surprisingly quiet, with gorgeous, spacious modern rooms. Its central location was fantastic. Checking in by text and using the door codes made everything easy. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The host stayed in touch and was helpful, especially since we arrived in Bologna early. The rooms were spacious, and getting to the residence from Bologna Centrale station was easy on the C bus.
