Saverio and Sara were lovely hosts, and their communication and hospitality were outstanding. Sorry it took me so long to finally write this! The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I really liked having the terrace. It’s in a quiet spot with grocery stores nearby, about a 15-minute walk from the town centre. My stay in May was brief, but I enjoyed it a lot. Bologna is always a great place to spend time. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The apartment was spotless and tidy, and otherwise perfect. There just weren’t any windows.

We were two couples travelling with one and two children, and stayed in two separate units. Both had the same problems. Although the apartments seemed fairly new, they were badly maintained and very poorly cleaned. A cheerful, kind young woman greeted us. I asked her to take away the two rugs beside the bed because they were clearly dirty. The bathroom was especially disappointing. With so many people coming and going, it really needed a thorough clean, and it didn’t seem to have had one. There was dust in several places too. The room had been cleaned with the skylight shut. Since lofts have no windows, the air smelled stale when we arrived, as you’d expect in a poorly ventilated space. Definitely not up to standard.

It was peaceful and comfortable for sleeping, and the little garden was just right for a nice breakfast. The apartment is good value and well placed, around 15 minutes on foot from both the central station and the city centre.
