The hosts were kind and helped me with everything I needed. The apartment feels right in the heart of Bologna, with its history and everyday life all around. It’s in a fascinating part of the historic centre, in a recently renovated old building. Inside, it’s modern, comfortable, very clean, and furnished with good taste. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is well designed, and there’s free internet and a washing machine. They’d even left water in the fridge, some snacks, and tea bags with a kettle. I’d sincerely recommend it.

The location downtown is good, but the studio needs maintenance and the value for money felt off. Cleaning was careless: the bidet wasn’t fully clean, and a couple of kitchen dishes were greasy and sticky. The bathroom sink drips, the radiator doesn’t work, and the toilet seat is broken, with its black sticker still on. There are no bedside tables, it’s quite damp, and there were only two single blankets.
