Mary's Rooms

We arrived to find the hotel's front door already broken. They sent us a room number and entry code, but when we got there the room was occupied and had other guests' belongings inside. The door code seemed to be shared openly with other guests, which felt unsafe. Maybe it was a one-off mistake, but I doubt they change the codes. We called for help and asked for another room, but reception wasn't supportive. We lost three hours waiting for a callback or trying calls they didn't answer, including calls from Booking.com after we asked them to step in. The guests whose room we were supposedly assigned also came by while we waited. They said they'd had trouble reaching reception the day before, when they checked in. With no alternative offered and so much time wasted, we had to leave and book another hotel. A horrible experience and a lack of seriousness. I'd give it -1000 if I could. Save your time and money, don't book here.

It was really cold, even in May, because they said the heating couldn't be turned on that month. What are you supposed to do when it's cold?

I don't know if this was a scam or just incompetence. I booked through Booking com 24 hours ahead, got no confirmation, and couldn't get a response when I tried to contact them. They won't refund me, so save your money. You'll have to book somewhere else anyway.

We were really touched by how gentle and kind the service and help with our booking were. There was a strike on the date we had booked, and it looked like we might not be able to get home. We asked if we could cancel, and the receptionist, whose name was shannen, did her best to sort it out. We were able to resolve the problem thanks to them. It was our first time dealing with something like that, and we felt confused and worried, but they helped us so kindly. Thank you very much! Grazie mile! 😀😀
