Albergo Bruna

The rooms are roomy and spotlessly clean, even if they're not modern, and the owners are really kind. We found this little family-run hotel a few years ago and have come back every year, sometimes just the two of us and sometimes with friends. It's centrally located and an easy walk to the sea; you can also get to nearby Pietra Ligure without a car or bus. Breakfast is excellent, and dinner is just as good, all made with local products. We'll be back soon!

The food was especially good, authentic, and the value for money was excellent. I was happy with everything else too, from the location and rooms to the staff and cleanliness. I came across this family-run hotel by chance and it turned out to be a lovely surprise. I'll definitely return. -Mariana

I wanted to clarify this since I can't reply directly to the reviews: Calcagno Hotel accepts small or medium-sized dogs that aren't aggressive. Please tell us the dog's size and breed when booking. People often say their dogs are calm, but a dog may behave differently outside its own environment. We've had some bad experiences. We don't want to generalize, but we have had to set clear rules to protect the other guests.

The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a family-run hotel in a handy spot near the sea, with very good food that's mostly homemade or locally sourced. Dinner timing is a bit restrictive for younger guests, since they're asked to be in the dining room at 7:30 PM or later.
