The staff and service were the real highlight. Everyone was so lovely and went out of their way to make us feel at home. A special thank you to the kindest owner Luciano, his wife Gianna, the chefs, and the girls in the restaurant. The food was unbeatable, with typical Ligurian cooking, and the location is very convenient. The facilities are a little old, but everything was very clean. Always a pleasure.

Borgio is quieter than the nearby villages, and the hotel is in a more peaceful part of the region. It's opposite the train station and just a short 150 m walk to the beach, with a supermarket and places for coffee and cakes nearby. The hotel itself is very dated, but the hosts are welcoming and the service is excellent. The rooms are simple, though everything was clean and tidy.

I spent seven days here with friends and we had a lovely time. The place was clean, the food was excellent, and the price was very good. Mr. and Mrs. Luciano are wonderful people who made us feel comfortable from the first day. I recommend it.

The owner is especially helpful and friendly, speaks excellent German, and is always around. His tireless, very warm manner helps create a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
