We were glad to be near family in the area, and the room itself was spacious, with a warm, comfortable bed. When we arrived around midday the heat was on, so things seemed fine. But by morning it was completely off in our room, the bathroom, and the breakfast room, with just 3 degrees C outside. We didn't get the warm shower or relaxed breakfast we'd hoped for. When we raised how cold it was, the owner more or less shrugged it off with “eh, tanto, più di così...” Very disappointing, and we didn't feel welcome.

The location worked perfectly for me because I was there to photograph the 24H Series 12H Mugello race. My room was clean and got cleaned every day. Breakfast was sweet, with no hot dishes such as scrambled eggs. The pension was fine, and the older lady who owns it was very polite and friendly, though communicating with her in English wasn't possible.

It was a decent stay and I'd recommend it, though there isn't much to do nearby. I barely slept because some noisy French lads were sharing the floor.

Mugello circuit is just five minutes away, and the place itself is lovely.

The rooms are small.
