Villa Signorini Events & Hotel

Our flight was canceled, so we were bussed here. The place seemed empty, and dinner was the strangest meal I've had: no choices, just some kind of rigatoni with sauce, potatoes baked with eggs, a mound of peas, and red or white wine. Where was the grilled octopus everyone was raving about? The person in the dining room seemed overwhelmed, though the woman at the front desk was nice. I don't know what it costs, as the airline covered it. The rooms ranged from ornate to bizarre, and all seemed to need renovation or improvements to the renovation already done. They smelled musty. Breakfast was so-so, though no worse than at other hotels. The grounds could be beautiful, but parking and the backs of houses surround them. The pool might be nice in better weather. The location felt iffy. It could have potential as an event venue with a tidy-up and better food.

I stayed two nights and couldn't get reliable wifi: the signal kept cutting out when I put my phone on the bed, and it varied around the room. The TV channels didn't work either, and the water pot smelled musty and moldy. On the first night, the air conditioning ran for four hours, then switched to heat and stayed there. It blew humid air that made the room unbearable. I turned it off to sleep, but it was back on when I woke on the third and final day. I asked the front desk to fix it and was told they would, but nothing changed. Breakfast was okay, just not as good as at other hotels we stayed at. Expect mosquitoes and no control over the room temperature.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I was there for an event for three days, and maybe I'm the only person who's eaten so badly in Italy because of them. Some rooms have no windows, and the mattresses looked like they might have been fine 30 years ago, but now they're bent. My room's walls were covered in stains and mold, and there were dead and live mosquitoes. I got bitten what felt like a million times. They even left the window open every day, in case some critter outside wanted to come in. You can't even choose whether they clean your room, since there isn't a sign for the door or room. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL.

The team made this one of the best trips I’ve ever had. We felt so at home that we honestly didn’t want to leave, and we’ll definitely come back. I’ve traveled a lot, but I’ve never experienced hospitality this incredible. Everyone was kind and caring, and Marco and Antonio were especially wonderful. Their warmth, professionalism, and positive attitude made such a difference. Thank you all so much for everything! 😍💛
