We chose this place in an emergency because we needed to be near Maresca Hospital while caring for a relative. It was convenient for the hospital and the Herculaneum excavations, but we couldn't wait to leave. The room and kitchen were together in what was basically a converted garage. The entrance was run-down, the paint was peeling everywhere, and the floor tiles were chipped. Cleanliness was barely adequate: the kettle was dirty with limescale, the yellowish towels were worn, and there were dead cockroaches on the floor. When we told the owner, she replied that she has cockroaches in her house too 🤷🏼♀️. A window and door company next to the room made it impossible to rest, with loud noise, trucks, and people coming and going from 6/7 am until the afternoon. I wouldn't recommend it for anything else. There are much better places nearby, including for the price.

The terrace had beautiful sunset views over Capri, Ischia, and Procida. It was a very clean and tidy place, and perfectly located for visiting Herculaneum or Vesuvius. Thanks again.
