The owners were friendly and ready to help, and the whole place felt peaceful. Just outside the city center, the farmhouse sits in a lovely setting. Our apartment was new and nicely furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen for making meals. The room and bathroom were clean.

The outdoor area is spacious, though it seemed underused and not especially well cared for. Inside, the apartments were clean and thoughtfully kept, with lovely restored antique-style furniture. It’s a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, and the owners were very kind and helpful.

The church and the Pian del Monte area are well worth seeing. A lovely festival takes place there every third Sunday in August. It’s an interesting village with a distinctive Valtaro character.
