We got home just 10 days ago, and I’m already missing Chalet Gardenia. We’ve come as a family to ski for 15 years, and Bormio and this house have become so special to me that I wouldn’t swap it for anywhere else. It’s peaceful, perfectly located, and always so clean. I even love the scents Miriam uses for the laundry. Dear Emilio and Miriam, we can’t wait to see you next year. Lots of love from Ratko and Jelena Peric in Belgrade.

We could pretty much leave the car parked for our Christmas and New Year stay, which was a huge plus with the high-season traffic. The free ski bus stops right outside for the lifts, and in about five minutes on foot you can reach the town center, thermal pools, or the sports center with its ice skating. The chalet also sits by the Val Viola cycle path, Sentiero Valtellina, and Frodolfo routes, handy for anyone like me who wants to get away from traffic and go running. Our apartment was warm, clean, and welcoming, and we had a wonderful time. There’s a ski room, a washer and dryer, and covered parking too. Such a strategic location. Recommended!

We’ve been coming back to Chalet Gardenia with the whole family for years, and it’s the kind of place that stays in your heart. Miriam and Emilio have always been so kind and helpful, and their wonderful children help make us feel at home. The chalet, apartments, and garden are beautiful and clean. It’s close to the center and shops, but still quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended.
