We were a big family and had five different rooms, all great and roomy enough. The hotel has a vintage feel and plenty of charm. The staff were attentive and incredibly professional. We stayed five nights, had dinner at the hotel each evening, and the food surprised us every time: delicious, fresh, and plentiful. Room service was excellent. We also appreciated the kids’ space and sauna area.

The setting is beautiful and the rooms are okay, but the service really disappointed me, especially after better experiences at lower-star hotels. I’ve never before been asked to pay for water with dinner, since it was always included. They should be ashamed. The food was edible but forgettable. The pizza was more like a cake, and if you want to get to the slope early, skip the scrambled eggs because they always arrive late.

We were six people on a cycling tour and stayed a couple of nights. The breakfast was good, and there’s a large locked storage area with bike tools and a bike wash. It’s easy to get to the cycle route and town. The decor is dated, though, if that bothers you.

We spent four nights here in June. Our room had a balcony in sunshine all day, which was lovely, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful despite being close to the center. Reception staff were very helpful, the night porter was great, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
