Ongar Relax

The apartment was beautiful, and the spa was very clean, which we really appreciated. We came for our honeymoon in June and had a perfect stay. Frederika made us feel so welcome, and breakfast was laid out so nicely each morning. We’ll definitely come back!

We’re here for the third time, and it still feels like a dream. Ongar Relax is a lovely, traditional house that opened in 2012. It’s a great base for nature and hiking, with the Lessinia mountains full of surprises. I’d recommend staying here if you love nature, food, and history.

For hiking, MTB, quiet, and beautiful views, this is the spot. The rooms are cozy, really nice, and have everything you need. Service was excellent too.

We found a room at Ongar Relax at the last minute over 15 Agosto, and what a lovely base it made in Lessinia. The owners are a friendly, knowledgeable local couple, and check-in and check-out were seamless. Breakfast was abundant, with sweet and savory options, and the host kindly accommodated our requests. Our top-floor room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The countryside views are lovely, and the buildings have been restored with care, keeping some original features while still feeling high quality and modern. The hotel takes up most of a “contrada” in Bosco Chiesanuova, about a 7-minute walk from the town center, with several hiking trails passing by. Guests can use the grilling area, and they provided the equipment for us. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home base in Lessinia.
