I stayed with Rocco twice and would happily book with him again on my next trip to Bovino. He’s a kind, gracious host, and the property is beautiful. The room was especially spacious by European standards, with a shower that had strong water pressure and stayed warm the whole time. His adorable cats were a big bonus for me.

Just a short stay, but it really brought us back to life after the city chaos we’d come from. The quiet, the scents, the warm welcome, the fantastic people. We’ll return, and you reading this should too ❤️

The owner is very helpful, and the place is surrounded by a vineyard that produces excellent local wine. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Breakfast is at a partner bar about a 10-minute walk away. Without that option, I would have had to wait until 9.00am.

If you’re passing through the charming village of Bovino, I’d recommend stopping here. The owner is an expert winemaker, and the stay comes with more than just a place to sleep: you can taste excellent wines made on site in the countryside and watch the sunset over the hills.
