La Chianca Ritrovata - trulli in valle d'Itria

Sleeping in the beautiful Trullo was a unique experience. The natural stone made the space feel warm and relaxing, and it was impeccably clean and orderly. I especially enjoyed breakfast under the enchanting pergola, with Micia, a sweet cat, for company. The private garden has a fig tree full of fruit you can eat freely. The estate itself is a little paradise of lush greenery and vibrant colors. Its ancient chianche floor, rediscovered and restored to its original state, is what gave the structure its name. Marco and Antonella feel like guardians of this magical place, with all its history and charm. Buffy, Shy, and Gastone deserve a special mention too, as they protect the property 😀

We had a perfect stay as a couple with our Husky. The trullo was spacious and welcoming, with every comfort, and the fenced patio was a big help because our dog could roam safely. The owners were wonderful and very helpful, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. It’s a quiet, relaxing place in the evening, just a few kilometers from Martina Franca and easy to reach from the other lovely towns in Itria Valley. We’d love to return soon.

The enclosed patio in front and the garden at the back meant our three dogs could safely wander around. There’s a fig tree in the back garden, and we had amazing figs for breakfast every morning. The trullo itself was fabulous, full of details from another era, and the kitchen behind the curtain is a little gem. The owners were welcoming and helpful. It’s peaceful countryside, just what we wanted for a relaxing weekend in Martina Franca, with easy trips to Locorotondo, Cisternino, and Alberobello. Evenings in the trullo felt magical, and it was lovely to relax in the peaceful natural surroundings and enjoy the Apulian landscape. The place is spacious, carefully maintained, and has everything you need. Martina is just a short distance away, and the nearby Itria Valley towns are easy to reach. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. I hope to come back soon. Highly recommended.
