Park Hotel San Michele

The staff do a good job cleaning, and the pool is nice, but the hotel really needs a remodel. The rooms are small and run down, the old blanket is laughable, and the bed is lumpy and hard. The bathroom is ridiculously cramped, and the shower is laughable too. Smoking is allowed, with ashtrays on the balconies. I left my window open, and when someone smoked in the adjoining room, my whole room reeked of cigarettes.

A huge, relaxing park and a menu for lunch and dinner with lots of local character are among the highlights here. The rooms are beautiful, breakfast is excellent, and the hotel sits in the heart of the famous Itria Valley. The staff are very friendly. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely return.

The gardens are lovely, with a nice pool in the middle, and breakfast outdoors has a really relaxing feel and good quality food. The hotel is very clean, nicely styled, and in a great central spot. The women at reception were kind and helpful. The men at reception were the opposite, and their lack of consideration for guests left me really disappointed.

There’s a supermarket and pharmacy close by, and you can walk into town. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a fabulous outdoor pool and garden. My bedroom was a good size, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was immaculately clean. The shower cubicle was so small that if you drop the soap, you can’t bend down to pick it up. There’s a good range of traditional food, though it’s not the place to go for British cuisine. The young woman at reception was pleasant and helpful. The male receptionists were efficient, but never smiled.
