I rented apartment number 8 for a year starting in 2023, then had two more six-month leases in 2024 and 2025. Three days before the last lease ended, the tenant told me she had sold it to the highest bidder. She hadn’t first asked whether I wanted to extend, and had no alternative to offer. That was a very different approach from how she had handled the ends of the earlier leases. I’d always paid the rent and utility bills on time and kept the home as a civilized person would care for their own. I never had a problem or disturbed the other tenants. The tenant had previously dealt with a family with two children, but the management felt more like handling livestock. Avoid.

The owner was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. I rented a place for two people, described as a room for four, for several weeks and had a great time. The rooms were warm and well equipped, with kitchen and bathroom amenities, and the window looked onto the park across the street. Wonderful!

Everything has been fine so far. It’s very quiet, and there aren’t many people around.
