We were really happy with our stay. The rooms were nicely arranged and ready for guests, and there are plenty of good restaurants and bars close by.

This was our third stay here, and we continue to be pleased with the clean, tidy house and how kind the owners and the woman who manages it are. Its position right by the lake, midway between Sirmione and Riva del Garda, makes it a handy base for getting around the Lake Garda area.

So much is close at hand: the ferry and bus stops are only a few meters away, and there's a supermarket, ATM, shops, the old town, marina and boat rentals nearby. You can also stroll along the lake or take hiking paths on Monte Baldo. Malcesine's castle and the historic sights in Torri del Benaco are within reach, and there's a market in Castelletto on Tuesday morning. The warm welcome and reasonable prices were much appreciated, with bars, restaurants, ice cream shops and pizzerias just steps away.

At 34 degrees Celsius on arrival, we were glad the air conditioning worked so well. The apartment in Castelletto matched its description, was very clean, and the landlady was helpful. The beach and harbor are right across the street, and the locals were friendly. We also enjoyed the Tuesday market. There are some great restaurants by the harbor and in the town center a little uphill.
