Villa Borgo Borago

The owners are really kind and lovely. This cozy villa was a perfect place to start the season in beautiful weather. The house has been renovated perfectly and has all the comforts. Highly recommended!

The rooms are spacious and clean, with a fully equipped kitchenette. The pool areas are amazing, and the villa has stunning views across the mountain and lake.

Our apartment, ‘Torri’ on the 2nd floor, was very spacious, and I can't remember staying anywhere with a more beautiful view. From the pool, you look out over the lovely lake and imposing mountains. The location is a dream. Giorgio and Michaela gave us a warm welcome, then kept us informed in the days afterwards and were always available. The owners had been clear about what the apartment did and didn't offer, and about the location. The building’s shared spaces, from the corridors and stairwell to the garden, were immaculately maintained.

We’ve now stayed here twice with our two children. The pool was a lovely place to unwind after trips, and the private garage for our room kept the car protected from the heat and the storms we had this time. The lake and its pleasant harbor promenade are only a 5-minute walk away. The village is wonderfully idyllic, and there’s a very good pizzeria with great prices within walking distance. The accommodation is beautiful and centrally located. The owners are very friendly and quietly take care of everything. It was a fantastic vacation, and the scent of the villa will always bring back the feeling we had there.
