The owner's replies here say a lot to me. They don't seem to understand how to handle criticism or see a problem with their attitude, though they threaten legal consequences. I haven't said anything wrong, and I stand by the 1 out of 5. Please stay somewhere else. This place has potential, but in my view the friendly Sardinian family running the Bed&Breakfast, also called Residenzia or Agriturismo, isn't making use of it. The setting is far enough from a busy road, though you can hear traffic during the day. It was quiet at night and didn't bother me. There are extensive natural grounds with horses, lambs and more, a huge swimming pool, and beautiful buildings. The owners' friendliness is a real plus. What keeps me from recommending it is the poor value of the mini-apartments in the Annex at around €70 a night. These issues weren't visible online. In both units, the furniture looked like it was from around 1980 and was completely worn, as shown in the picture. There was an old tube TV from 1985, and the bathroom was old and hard to clean properly because of its age. The bed was a mattress on a steel spring frame. There's no air conditioning. That might only matter on truly hot August nights, but in my view it should be standard in 2018. Breakfast is included for B&B guests, but I think it could offer more than one cake and some salami with cappuccino. Some of these things would be easy to fix with investment, but as things stand, I can't recommend the Annex mini-apartments. I can't judge the other rooms or the main house. This is just my personal impression. Other people may see the place completely differently.
